I wrapped my hula hoop wirh fabric strips and love how it looks. Can injust apply modge podge over top of the fabric to make it stay on the hoop permanently or do i have to unwrap all the fabric strips and apply the modge podge to the wrong side of fabric and reapply fsbric to the hoop

I cut out a tiny iPad from the stuff that came with an iPad and painted over it to make a cute Barbie iPad years ago.
I’m in NYC and work w polymer clay. I am severely allergic to uv resin, found out the hard way, and I’ll never touch it again . I’ve used Mod Podge before and am hoping that I can get a similar finish with one or more of these products. I had a bottle of dimensional, bought a long time ago, and I did use it on one of my pieces and was surprised that it actually moved like UV resin. I have a way to go to use it well but I think I’m sold! Thanks for this video. I’ve subscribed.
Does it matter if I use mod podge matte or gloss to glue and seal in this bezel project you did in this video?😊
If i use another glue in my project (like elmers or tacky glue) will dimensional magic work as well and cure clear? 😊

Thank you so much! Even though I do crafts, I’m working on wedding gifts that I’m doing ‘farmhouse’ style. I’ve wrapped them all in brown kraft paper and have done each differently with fabric burlap ribbon etc but now, on this large gift, I chose to cut out a piece of beautiful White/Gray scroll fabric and mod podge it on, under the bow at an angle and then, printed out a beautiful quote to apply to the fabric so…… thank you for telling me about the waiting period and I hope the paper quote won’t wrinkle!!!! Fingers crossed!!!!
I used the outdoor mod podge for an outdoor project. After 4 days it is still sticky, is that normal?

I stopped watching the constant interruptions with questions was too much. It would have been lots of info as I’m fairly new to mp. My question is how to seal terra cotta pots that are painted with chalk paint and mod podged so it is shiny and can be used outside? I’ve ruined one already.
I found pieces of a kit in a box similar to this that had retro pictures and wood pieces in my dad’s workshop when I was cleaning it out after he passed away. This is how I got started with it. My sister or myself must of had this growing up.

She dips her paint brush in the water in the basin and then blots it off a bit right before she puts the brush in the Mod Podge to put it on the back of the paper. So the brush isn't dry going into the Mod Podge.

It's so funny. We didn't live in a suburb city or near one so we didn't have access to mod podge here in the southeast rural areas in the late 60s, so we used Elmer's glue. It worked fine for us but we had nothing to compare it to then. By the time the fad ended in the early to mid 70s here, the fad faded. Glad to see this had reentered into crafts! And now we use mod podge... Great product!

They all dry clear! Try the gloss, matte, or satin depending on the finish you want

Well - maybe. The problem is it's going to dry out. You can try. I'd do it before it dries and see what happens. Faux leaves might be better!

You can but it's a small bottle. I'd use resin instead if you're doing a large area.
MOD PODGE GLOSS: For acrylic paintings can I mix it into my paint (and ratio) / or only use only as a varnish type brush on finish?
You can mix it with acrylic paint - it is also an acrylic product. But it doesn't mix with oil based or latex paints.
